Strength

Strength Program

Developed by Kyla Coates (CSEP CEP), this 16 week strength program is specific to cyclists. The highlights of this program are:
  • Functional muscle activation for improved cycling and strength mechanics in order to prevent overuse injuries and maximize cycling efficiency
  • Improved muscle power by first building muscle strength and then increasing the speed of movement, in order to improve cycling performance and counteract the age-related decline in fast-twitch muscle fibers. 
  • Increased bone mineral density through progressive loading and impact.

The program has three variations for each exercise taking the individual from basic to more advanced. There are videos for each exercise. 

Cost: $85 (During Covid 19 it is pay what you can so please contact me!)
One-on-one sessions to ensure form are available through online video-conferencing. Individualized programs also available.
