I am Tenille.

I am an endurance coach, an athlete and a woman who has lived inside this sport long enough to know that training well is about far more than just fitness.

I have coached women:

  • Training for their first triathlon
  • Returning after injury, illness, burnout or major life change
  • Balancing demanding careers, families and performance goals
  • Competing at national and world championship events, including Kona

I have also lived these transitions myself.

That matters.

How I Came to Coach This Way

I started my athletic journey as an Olympic hopeful in synchronized swimming. In my late 20s, I transitioned into professional triathlon.

From the outside, my career looked successful. I represented Canada at ITU Pan-American Championships, competed in long course events, and raced at the IRONMAN World Championships multiple times.

But the way I achieved those results came at a cost.

I trained relentlessly, developed disordered eating patterns, and lost my period for five years. This led to injuries, hormonal challenges, and eventually a loss of joy in the sport.

In 2013, I stepped away from triathlon.

What followed was a long process of rebuilding. I faced fertility challenges, learned how to move without pain again, and slowly found my way back to training with consistency and enjoyment.

That process came through curiosity, education, and a lot of trial and error. And it changed how I see coaching completely.

This journey led me to create the

MNTR INTEGRATED TRAINING SYSTEM™

It’s a coaching approach designed to help you achieve your athletic goals by aligning your unique physiology with your nutrition, training, and recovery. We start with health, because it is the foundation of performance. From there, I help you understand how to train, fuel, and recover in a way that supports your energy and long-term progress.

Then we build a plan with clarity and intention, one that evolves with you.

To me, being your strongest athletic self means understanding your body, building resilience, and learning how to balance sport with the rest of your life.
